When i am executing stored procedure i am getting this error.
Transaction(Process Id 200)was deadlocked on resources with another process and has been choosen as deadlock victim.re run the transaction.
please suggest me on this.

Identify the deadlock by the help of Activity monitor comes under Management object in Management studio

Enable trace flag 1222 and add it to the startup parameters of SQL Server so that you get the deadlock output in the SQL Server Error Log. You can also view the information via SQL Profiler by adding the deadlock graph to the trace.

Aravindt77, activity monitor provides very little help with deadlocks.

Deadlocks are not easy to resolve. The first step is finding the other query involved in the deadlock, which the information I posted will help you get.
