Dear All,

I am very new to DB Encryption Techniques. Can we Encrypt some of the table column or Whole DB itself.

If somebody have previous experience please share with me.

SQL Server 2008 has far better support for encryption (TDE, Transparet Data Encryption) than 2005 so if it's a possibility for you upgrade you'd have quite a few better options.
