Hello

I have a database in Sql Server 2008 at home. But i m using Sql Server 2000 in my Office.

I need to know is there any way to restore 2008 backup file in 2000?

no, there's not.

you can script all the objects and BCP the data out, the bulk insert it in on the 2000 db

Or you can also script the data as INSERT statements - probably not a good choice if there is lots of data, but would be easier for any tables that don't have many data rows.
