nicol writes "I need to recover the contents of my SQL 6.5 .DAT files. These .DAT files are the only ones that I have. I have no servers active on an SQL 6.5. And my SQL 6.5 software is now a goner.

The tools that i have is my SQL 2000 Server software installed in my PC.

I need to find a way to read or convert the data from the old SQL 6.5 .DAT files to my new SQL 2000 format.

Can you help me, my SQL Guru?

As far as I know, your only option is to find a copy of SQL 6.5, install it somewhere, restore your dat file, and upgrade the database. Sorry.
