Hi All,

what is msdb.dbo.sp_sqlagent_get_perf_counters??? which eats lots of CPU .

Could you please suggest?

The CPU column in SQL Profiler does not map directly to CPU percentage. The value can be very high if the same session has been running for quite some time. Most likely you are going down the wrong track from your CPU usage.

Instead you should be looking at long running queries (high duration) and high reads (start with over 5000). You are likely missing indexes.
