Need latest security patch available for sql server 2005 sp2.can anyone let me know what is the correct one.

We have SP3 CU9.

I'm pretty sure that it's up to CU11, but you should only install CUs if you need a fix for the service pack. We are using CU8 currently and will be going to CU12 when it comes out.

HI Tara,

I got the below details from the given links

Are these the latest security patches -- please confirm

SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 --(KB960089)
SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4 --(KB960082)

I got the details from the below links

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/Bulletin/MS09-062.mspx sql server 2005 sp2
