| I have installed two computers with SQL2005 with same Windows administrator and SQL sa Password.Then,created publiser from computer1 and replicated snapshot to computer2. On Computer2 , subscriber is created w.r.t to publisher computer 1. while viewing the Job History in subscriber it shows msg "Agent message code 20084. The process could not connect to Distributor 'COMPUTER1'. Your help will be highly appriciated. Thank You . |

| Make sure you are able to connect to Computer2 from computer1. Also, you setup the replication of the subscriber, are you using the SA account or domain account? If domain account change the connection authentication to SA and see if you get the same error message. |
