| Sherry writes "The windows 2000 domain account that was an SA was deleted and recreated by the NT login Gods in their infinite wisdom. Now, SQL server shows that this NT login is still a member of the sa role, BUT, it can't perform SA functions. I think it is because the SIDs are out of whack. Is there an easy, safe way to resync these? Thanks for your help." |

| IF your problem actually is SIDs out of sync, then this script: http://www.sqlteam.com/Forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12615 can fix that. |
