Connection to the server was reset

Sorry, I am probably missing something obvious with this but...

I have a few reports that seem to be timing out, I am not certain.
I get the message "The connection to the server was reset" when anonymous access is enabled, while when I require a login, I am prompted to login again.
When using a login prompt, it takes about 2.5 minutes to pop up
When not, it takes about 6 minutes and 15 seconds to show the error.

I am not certain if the times are consistent, but I do not believe they are.

Any ideas what could cause this? The attempts to get the report are not saved in the executionlog for some reason, but normally, when a report is done, it is recorded.

The report itself isn't too complicated.
The user selects a group and timeframe, and a subreport runs on each person in the group. The report grabs the person from the list of people, and left joins to a list of actions that have been recorded.

It runs fine in the SQL Business Development Studio, it only fails when running from the Reporting Services page.

Thanks for any help.

Edit:
Also, the report runs fine with the smaller groups, just the larger ones die. I can set the smaller ones to report on weeks worth of time fine, but the ones that contain more people cannot handle a single day. I think that it is caused by the number of times it runs the subreport, but am not sure what I would change for this.
