Hi,

My plan as follow,
1. 1 Dedicated Server for SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition (64 bit)
2. SAN Storage with 3 physical drives such as RAID0, RAID1, and RAID5

I'm gonna to install my SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition (64 bit) as follow
1. SQL Server Program Files into RAID0
2. SQL Server Log Files (ldf) into RAID1
3. SQL Server Data Files (mdf) into RAID5

Did my SQL Server installation is apply for performance wise?

Need advice

RAID1+0 for MDF perhaps?

You got another drive you can store backups on?

Is RAID0 mirrored? or just a single drive? (sorry, I can never remember!) I would not want O?S to be on a single drive and be a single point-of-failure.

What about TEMPDB?
