Author  Topic  Sureshvc Starting Member 1 Post Posted - 2010-11-12 : 12:07:16 Hi Getting the following error.. - Setting Source Connection (Error) Messages Error 0xc020801c: Source - Query [1]: The AcquireConnection method call to the connection manager "SourceConnectionOLEDB" failed with error code 0xC0014019. (SQL Server Import and Export Wizard) Exception from HRESULT: 0xC020801C (Microsoft.SqlServer.DTSPipelineWrap) . Trying to get data from SQL 2008 to SQL 2005 database. Using Import/Export (Right Click on db, task->Import using SSSMS 2005 on the SQL 2005 box) Giving a openrowset to get the data from SQL 2008 box. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Suresh.
