If a table was bcp'ed out in NATIVE format and the DDL was not scripted to create a table in another database on a different server, and the original server was decommissioned

Is there ANY Way you can recover that data?

I would bet Microsoft could figure out the DDL. Got a premier account?

Maybe..never needed them before...

But I was asked to help I guy out with bcp

I did...millions of rows

I said native would be the faster, and the you can just bcp it in to the other server

Comes back to me weeks later after the decommission

You mean it won't build the tables for me?

if I had done it a delimited form..I could have guessed..but you still need to know the column names and types!!!

oye
