 Problem in updating table structure

Hi All,

I am always found issue when i update the table structure.

It's showing message.
"Saving changes is not permitted. The Changes u have made require the following table to be dropped and recreated. You have either......

Why this problem occurs every time?

Any body have any idea.

It's just a protection in management studio to protect you from doing something you hadn't planned for.
I would script the changes, check them and run in a query window.

To alow it
tools, options, table and database designers
clear prevent saving changes that require table re-creation.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.
