| Folks, I know this is a general query but the site's been really useful for me to read through and I thought I'd get some sensible technical advice.Essentially I've been developping a lot of fancy SQL-Excel tools and wanted to extend some of what I'm doing to the Web. If you look at something like Wikinvest or Google Finance, those are examples of nice web-browser based interactive charts and I'd like that sort of a thing on a webpageI'm fairly good when it comes to application programming (VBA and C++) so I'm not a complete beginner but I've not really got too much of a clue when it comes to networked/web based stuff and wanted to know where to start, language to learn or books to buy and read through in order to do this. I'm thinking that I have a few weeks vacation starting soon and I'd like to set some goals for next year.Thanks in advance for any good advice people can offer |
