Hi,When i restore my database from .bak file Then I got this error. There is insufficient free space on disk volume 'C:\' to create the database. The database requires 22681174016 additional free bytes, while only 19623108608 bytes are available.Problems were identified while planning for the RESTORE statement. Previous messages provide details.RESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally. is there anyway to restore database without log file or anyway to restore by restricting log file size.i know if i take database backup after shrink it will resolve the case. is there anyway for already taken database backup.thanks. |

Nope. You need to free up the space that the database needs.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP |
