Dear Member
in my one server install sql2005 .i have install sqlserver2008 client tools.
in smo of sql server2008 to connect a remote sql server2008
I am able to setup the DSN to connect sql2008 to another remote server and test a connection successfully.
i have connect in excel to import data to sql server2008 of remote server.
but their is not connect their are display following error

"DBNETLIB connection open sql server doesnot exists or access denied"



the sql server2008 server is remote server. this sql server2008 run 1246 port this port is open . i have set on the firewall and open the sql port 1433 and enable tcp/ip.
