hi all,

i want to grant access to a group of users(say all the managers) to a database but does not want a particular user(say user xyz) not to have the access to the database what can i do.

i have given access to the domain users group managers but not able to revoke the access from the user xyz. i do not have the login in the security folder in object explorer as i have created a login with managers group. can you guys tell me whats the problem.

// it is always suggested to do it first on the test server then implement on production server//

Create, or have your AD/Network team create a new group containing only the people you want to be members, then grant permissions to that group.
