Remove SQL2008 and Replace with SQL2005

Remove SQL2008 and Replace with SQL2005

Greetings -

I have a new server which had SQL2008 installed on it. I was forced to remove SQL2008 and install SQL2005 (we have ERP application that doesn't run on SQL2008).

After removing SQL2008 - I noticed 3 entries in installed programs that I think should be removed before I install SQL2005, they are:

1. Microsoft Report Viewer Redistributable 2008 SP1
2. Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell
3. Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Application

If you were in my shoes what would you do?

You can leave them there or uninstall them. I'd uninstall them if it were me.
