 convert string dd/mm/yyyy to dateTime

Hello,
I have a nvarchar column with string of the from dd/mm/yyyy
How do I convert the entire column from vnvarchar to dataTime dataType of the same format?

SQL Server is storing datetime datatype in an internal format.
The format to show the value is a presentation issue and has nothing to do with the stored format.

How ever, to convert your character value to datetime:
convert(datetime,YourColumn,103)
should work.
