I keep getting join types confused......I have two tables (1) claimline and (2) claimheader. Claimline has claim line level detail to my claims and could have multiple records that match claimheader. Can anyone please help me to understand why when I do an inner join (ClaimLine CL inner join ClaimHeader CH) or a left join (ClaimLine CL leftjoin ClaimHeader CH) I get the same record count? Thanks |

| May be because you have 1 or more rows in both the tables so all the matching records are appearing. To see the difference, keep record only in one table and no matching records in other table.Ex: Insert a record in ClaimHeader only |
