Hello,

I have a table Books with some data and one of the columns (Resume) is no longer needed. I want to discard all the content in it in all records.

The column is a simple nvarchar(400).
No relations there. No restriction.

What is the best way to delete that column?

Thank You,
Miguel

update books
set resume=null

or if you want to permananrly remove the column

alter table books
drop column resume
