Hi readers,
I am new to SQL programming. Can I change the name of an existing column in a table ?

Q2) Can I delete a column in a table ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

yes. in SSMS right click on the table and select Design Mode add/remove/modify the name of the column and then save it .. thats all ..

or
for SQL command google "Transact SQL Alter table"

There's also the sp_rename procedure, you can rename pretty much anything with it. It's documented in Books Online.
