I have the service started and it says (MSSQLSERVER) next to it, so I try connecting to "(local)" and I get a 404 error. Any ideas? |

Use Reporting Services Configuration to configure RS properly, make sure you set the right security. Also, what exactly do you mean by "so I try connecting to "(local)" and I get a 404 error"? Are you opening a web page? Do you mean in EM? By 404, I assume you mean a web browser. If this is the case you need to go to to the web address you get to in the RS configuration. It is usually http://MyServerName/reports or http://MyServerName/ReportFolder |

I was trying to connect through Studio, there is an option to connect to reporting services, then it asks for a SQL Server Name, User, and Login. Another tech went on their and fixed it though, said something about 64 bit mode IIS vs 32 bit. |
