Can anyone advise if there is a vault type software where we can store all sensitive passwords.

There isn't a built-in SQL Server feature for that, but there are plenty of good and free tools out there.

I've used this one: http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/

This is another good one. Has lots of features, the install is minimal (can run from at thumb drive), and there are a lot of free add-ons available.
