| Hi there,I have set up database mail on a few of our SQL Servers and so far all have been successful. However, on one server, when trying to send a test mail, I get the following error:The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 1 (2011-03-15T09:27:24). Exception Message: Could not connect to mail server. (An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions 192.168.12.131:25)Any idea what might be causing this? The only difference I can see between this server and the others is that the SQL Server and SQL Server Agent services are running under a different account. Could that affect it in this way?Thanks |
