Hi,
I am very new to sql or php, but I'm really trying to figure this out.
I plan to use a database containing continents-countries-states-cities for my mostly html/php project. As part of the project I will need a module where a user would choose a city from those in the database.
Graphically, I want to have four chained divs with scrolling-down links in them - one for continents, one for countries, and so on.
I am truly puzzled as to how I could read the values from the SQL into my page to build the divs without having to create a monster array containing every city in the SQL at the same time.
I would be truly greatful for both "big picture" responses and concrete implementation ideas.
