I receive the error message listed below when trying to log into the management console using Windows Authentication. I have searched the forum and have not been able to find anything associated with this error. Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Express.SmoEnum, Version=9.0.242.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKey Token=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not mathe the assembly reference (Exception from HRESULT: 0c80131040) (Microsoft.SqlServer.Express.ObjectExplorer)Thanks |

Tara,Will your suggestion apply to the 2005 SQL Server Express version? Also, will there be any issue with installing SP4 over an existing SP4 install? Finally I am trying to log into "SQL Server Management Studio Express" if that make any difference. Thanks,Nick |

Hello Again Tara,Please excuse the long delays in my questions. I do not get to the office that has this issue very often. My reason for the original question had to do with accomplishing the backup process. Since I can not log into the console, I am unable to perform the backup. Is there another method to complete the backup? Thanks,Nick |
