I know that sql server has a service for sending emails via management tools,
so how can I make sql able to receive email & attachments files,
because I have 50 10 users connected via internet and I need to receive their emails in sql database in order to save it in my database

Better to write an application to receive the email and then save it to the database. SQL Server is not designed for this kind of function.

The deprecated SQLMail function has a method for reading email: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms179879.aspx

However it will be removed, and cannot do POP, among other things.

Show him/her this post, and the Microsoft documentation for SQL Server.

Why does your manager believe SQL Server can receive email via POP?

no, he asked me to search online about any way to receive emails.
I coding a system in VB.NET to do all that , but it is not my point as I am a database developer not an email developer.
as you know email use pop3 & MAPI & encoding base 64 & utf8-16 and so in ,
it sound me like a headache.
