Hi there,I have a sql server running the businesses main system, it can be a bit clunky and cpu intensive. I have found that the GFI Mail Archiver canes the sql server. Has anyone come across this.....does anyone know if it's prudent to put the Mail Archiver on the server that is not running exchnage.Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I would not put the mail archiver database on the exchange server. I would definitely check what sort of email is being archived. Is every piece of spam being archived? If so, adjust the spam filter and the archiver to exclude those. There was also an issue I recall with how images were stored in the database. I don't work with GFI anymore so my memory is a little foggy. But I remember there being an issue with how attachments were stored. I wish I could remember more about it.Hey, it compiles. |
