Hi,

I have created one project in VB.net and MS-SQL EXPRESS 2005, It is working fine when I fully install MS-SQL EXPRESS 2005 AND my application on the client machine.

I want to make my application portable. Means I want that my application should not require the installation of MS SQL EXPRESS on client machine.

By searching on various forums, I tried creating portable project by using ThinApp. It does not work because when I ran portable application on cient machine, it gives the error that "SQL Server is not found or Access is denied"

May you suggest any idea to solve this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Do you mean you want the application to work without a database connection or to connect to a remote server?

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.

That means instaling it on the client. It needs to be installed to be used.
