Hello Everyone,

So I have a Windows XP Sp3 pc with 2005 SQL and I want to basically replicate all functions, queries and databases onto my laptop which is

Windows 7 Ultimate.

How to do this? I heard online it isnt possible because of the difference in OS? Thank you in advance.

Can't you just backup/restore? By "replicate", please explain what you mean.

So I have a desktop with SQL Server 2005. It has several databases in several folders and queries for certain databses in certain file folders all organized in a certain way.

Im new to the language.

I am asking how can I SET UP the same stle of organization and data of what is on my Desktop to my personal laptop which Windows 7/Vista pc. Will I run into any OS problems? It has sql server 2005 installed on it.

Thanks Tara
