isnt it possible to attach the database here so we can play with it and make the query in access?I agree that making somebodies homework can not be the goal... |

SQLTeam is not a file hosting site, and due to macros and possible viruses I'd feel compelled to remove a link to an Access database file as a security risk.There's enough information in the screenshot to reconstruct the table structures if you choose, and you can populate your own sample data to validate that the query works. |

Which department? The project department or employee department?Your Employees - Departments link looks interesting.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
