| Hi,I have about 35 diffrent numerical codes for a Shipment Status. I want to display in the report according to the status number... like 0 - New, 10 - Arrived,....I used Switch, I think there is a limitation on the no. of statements inside it, If any1 know how many is the limit and any ther way around, so i can use it to loop throuh all 35 statuses. I cannot put this into a table.Thanks, |

| I think i was not clear, the status number comes from DB, I want to put a layman understandable words instead of that number. so i put tat in as expression and used switch inside it. In crystal this is possible. I dont know the way in SSRS.thanks |

| I got it, I made a function vb code in the report and call it in the expression by code.{function name}thanks |
