Good morning,

I am not sure if this is the right place to post a question about refresh a database.

I have two databases, production and test. I have to keep refreshing test database with data from production database. I do not know if I can do it with a database administrator command or I need to create a script.

The purpose of this assignment is to update just data. The team leader wants me to work on this assignment. I can refresh data using a backup and restore command from production database. But the team leader does not want that. He wants to keep working with testing, and refresh the data from production database. For example if he is working with a store procedure in testing, he does not want to lose that procedure while I do a restore database. He asked me to create a script to refresh data.

Please give me some advise how to fix this problem.

Thanks for any help.

Sincerely.

JMG
