Hello,

I have a database made in SQL Server 2008 R2 Version.
Please let me know is it possible for me to restore the backup of this database on the SQL server Enterprise Edition.

Best Regards

Not following.... You talk about a version that the backup was taken on and an edition that you want to restore to.

What version of SQL are you trying to restore to (edition doesn't matter in most cases)

No. It has nothing to do with the edition (Enterprise). It solely has to do with the versions.

SQL 2008 R2 is a higher version than SQL 2008 and downgrades of a database are not possible.
