i am using SQL 2005.
I am importing a flatfile copied from an excel source to sql2005
Even though i mention text qualifiers as none, when i load to table i am getting some fields along with the text qualifiers"xxxx".
I need to remove this...any solution

Are the text qualifiers in the flat file you are loading?
If you specify none then these will be considered part of the value and be included - and also the load could fail if a separator is included in the column.
It sounds like you should specify " as the qualifier.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.
