| You mean you want to view the results of sql server terminating a process due to a deadlock? You can set trace flags to log info and view the log.Not really sure what the question is - have you tried a search for sql server deadlock?==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

| There's no simple script. SQL doesn't store historical deadlock unless you ask it to.Traceflag 1222 causes SQL to write deadlock graphs into the error log. You can run a server-side trace with the deadlock graph event. I'm pretty sure there's an extended event, but I'm not familiar with those.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP |
