Hi,

We are getting dead lock in one of our application.

For detecting the deadlock i have enabled the trace flag 1204 in sql sever 2000. First time i got the trace in error log when deadlock occurred but i am getting the deadlock again and there is no deadlock detection in the error log.

Please help me what i have to do.

Regards
Arun

How did you enable it? If you used TRACEON, that's only effective until SQL restarts.

Then it persisted only until the instance was restarted.

Add it as a startup parameter to persist it. You can do that in Server Network Utility.
