| Hi,i developed an HR system that contains many ideas like:#Offer(Code,Applicant,ExpiryDate,AnnualVacation,TicketEligibility,ContractType,ContractDuration,ContractNature,EligibleForOvertime,Note)#OfferBenefit(Offer,Benefit,Amount)_________________________#Contract(Code,Employee,FromDate,ToDate,AnnualVacation,TicketEligibility,ContractType,ContractDuration,ContractNature,EligibileForOvertime,SignedByEmployee,ReviewDate,Note)#ContractDetail(Contract,Amount,Benefit)_________________________Vacations, Job Request,...etcall of the mentioned tables need to be entered in an workflow to get the approval and this approval cycle depends on the Job of the employee for example: J1= software developer, then M1=IT director, M2=CEO , M3 = HR Director should appove the document before the HR department commit the document.also each manager can change in the content of the document so i need to keep the history of the requestwhat is the best way to build up the approval system for my tables ? with example pleaseregards |

| you need to define a hierarchy for approval like approval hierarchy table with approvalid and hierarchy to be followed. then you can link this hierarchy to each document to show which approval system this document is part of and against each hierarchy level you can map a joblevelid to indicate whether its a ITdirector or CEO or...------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/ |
