Hello Everybody.First of thank you all for making this a great forum, especially for newbies like myself.Well, here is my question. Until now i only programmed homspages in html and css, but now i would like to explore the world of databases and so on. I have Access 2010, and read a lot about the program, and how it works.I have used this homepage a lot:http://www.w3schools.com/sql/default.aspto get som knowledge about SQL, and im now ready to try it myself, and here comes my question. How do i get access to my database in my web dokument. I you fx look at css, there you have to link to your stylesheet in <head></head> so the page knows where to get the information.Isn´t it the same with database. The page must know that it has to get information from the database, but where and what do i have to put in my web document?I hobe someone out there can help me ? :-)Best Regards Mads

You should start on the ASP.NET tutorials on the same site: http://www.w3schools.com/aspnet/default.aspYou can jump to the data related stuff, but it's probably a good idea to review everything leading up to it.If you're not using ASP.NET, they have PHP and ASP tutorials as well.

And it's a good idea to download and install the FREE SQL Server 2008 R2 Express, instead of using Access.
