i am trying to run a comparison on a table with 1 column , generated by a statistical weather reader.

i woud like to run a query where i can insert all the values that follow a zero in any row to a new table.

i have craeted the new table and i can run a query to insert into this table but can't select the rows that follow a zero row.

help is appreciated.

edit: moved to proper forum

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.

Give an example of some data and what you expect the result to be.
At the moment I don't know whether you mean a zero value in a row and you want the following rows (by some order) or that you have a character column and want all the bytes following a '0' or all the bytes following the last '0' or something else.
