Hi One Database Server has Drive 500 gb of freeSpace.Suddenly one bulk operation Started in database server,it will run more than One Hour. This Bulk operation Will Take more than 500 gb Space.we couldn't stop the Bulk operation,As a DBA How Can manage this Problem.--Ragu |

Will it take 500 gb in the data file or the log file?If data, nothing you can do other than get more disk space.If log, you can change recovery model to simple or bulk-logged (though neither may solve your problem depending...) or you could do the inserts in smaller batches (say a few thousand MBs at a time).Also, is this a one-off, or an ongoing process? |
