Hi, I want to create an Excel 2007 Pivot table which feeds from a view in sql 2005. I want to set some permissions so the sales guys in each area only see their own figures when they open the Pivot. In an ideal world the Pivot would refresh and bring back only the data relevant to that sales guy.

What I have is Username, Customer, ID Number (this relaltes to the report).

Does anyone have a very easy How to link or guide or something, I can't work out what I'm doing grrr.
