Hi, I am trying to install SQL2005-KB924345-x86-ENU.exe on my Windows 7 and I get the baove message during the installation process.I am wondering if I am missing any thing on machine that I need to have installed prior running this fix?Thanks in advance,L |

Thanks for the link and after reading it and I have realized that we have the following installed. 'For all editions of SQL Server 2005 running on Windows 7 and on Windows Server 2008 R2 , you must have at least SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 (SP3) installed.' The whole issue is we are trying to send some attachements using 'sp_send_dbmail' and ran into this downloding the hotfix thing. But not sure why it doesn't install the first of the 7 exe files out fo the hotfix package. We got the hotfix package from (http://hotfixv4.microsoft.com/SQL%20Server%202005/sp1/Yukon_SP1_2183/09.00.2183.00/free/285422_intl_i386_zip.exe)Any help is appreciated. |
