Hi All,I have installed in QA Server. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.4035.00 (X64) Nov 24 2008 16:17:31 Copyright (c) 1988-2005 Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2) with sp3 in my stand alone server.And i have installed in DR Server Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.4035.00 (X64) Nov 24 2008 16:17:31 Copyright 1988-2005 Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2) with sp3 it is on Cluster env.but i need to dump the data from 1 of my production server which is in cluster and the version is Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.4305.00 (X64) Jun 3 2010 17:37:12 Copyright 1988-2005 Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2) with the same sp3 (Its already installed b4,now I need to make all servers in that same way as this server is. I took the dump of software from this server and run in the above servers.)i need to make all in the same versions as i run the same in all but got this change.But here the version is different im unable to get why its so. Where i went wrong please let me know.Thanks In Advance. |

Hi Kizer,there is a difference in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.4035.00 & Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.4305.0 there is the difference. |

You're welcome, glad to help.You should install a much newer update, by the way. A critical security hotfix was released in June and even sp3+cu10 doesn't include that. Your systems are vulnerable as a result. I'd recommend installing SP4 AND June's security cumulative hotfix but even just SP4 + just the critix bug fix is fine.
