Hello i have a db SQL with SQL2008 R2 sp1 ,fore some reason my DB must be increase of size , and i do following the next procedure :
To increase the size of a database
1.In Object Explorer, connect to an instance of the SQL Server Database Engine, and then expand that instance.

2.Expand Databases, right-click the database to increase, and then click Properties.

3.In Database Properties, select the Files page.

4.To increase the size of an existing file, increase the value in the Initial Size (MB) column for the file. You must increase the size of the database by at least 1 megabyte.

5.To increase the size of the database by adding a new file, click Add and then enter the values for the new file. For more information, see How to: Add Data or Log Files to a Database (SQL Server Management Studio).

6.Click OK.

And the DB show new size about 30gb but this is my problem after few minutes the size of db became again 5gb , i can not understand why , in my hard disk there is free space for new size , but the db became always small, please help me.

Thank you Vincent
