| I have a table with a column called Country. Country has only unique data in it and it has more than 1000 names within the country.i want to extract all the data for only 400 country names.Instead of typing them one by one in where clause, is there a way for me to point the where caluse to a file which contains these 400 names and it pull me all data for these 400 only? |

| Not that I know of. I would think it would be better to populate a view from the file using a job that runs periodically (twice a day perhaps). Then perhaps write some dynamic SQL that builds the where statement for you. It could even be done with a temp table. That would be my approach.Craig Greenwood |
