| Does anyone know what happens if you open SSMS 2008 R2 then process a cube on a olap db, but, before the cube is finished processing, process another cube on the same server in the same olap database. Essentially 2 different process dialogs processing 2 different cubes on the same box, same olap db? Would one dialog lock out the other?I get a red box with <HoldList> in the XMLA, any ideas anyone?Regards, Nick. |

| we have done this once and that time first cube processing was blocking second one and performance was really hit badly.
