Hi,I'm currently working with a client that has a series of SSIS packages that runs on SQL Server 2005. Now, one of the source databases are being upgraded from 2005 to 2008R2 and I'm simply wondering if this will cause any issues? The ssis packages are executed using the sql server agent on the 2005 server. I know that getting data from an older version is done without issues but can you get data from a higher version as well and expect it to work properly? I've never done this before...- LumbagoMy blog-> http://thefirstsql.com/2011/07/08/how-to-find-gaps-in-identity-columns-at-the-speed-of-light/ |
