I need to circulate monthly reports and would like to have the email subject to change dynamically e.g. My Report - October 2011. I have have set up a parameter within the report to return the date part but cannot get the email subject line to recognise it. All I get is My Report - @EMailSubject which is exactly what I have typed into the setup form.Any thoughts?Kind regardsTony |

are you using data driven subscription? why not set date in table field and use it while specifying subject?------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/ |

I am new to SSRS and have not encountered Data_driven Subscriptions before but, from what I read about them, I am not sure they are really relevant to my situation. My reports are to be distributed to eight people all of whom have identical requirements and this is unlikely to change. Are you saying that a Data-Driven Subscription is going to be the only solution? As a matter of interest, am I correct in thinking that the pre-populated email subject box contains items from the Built-In Fields? Many thanks.Kind regardsTony |
